About Us
The Israeli ICT Officers Association - Gidonim is the home of ICT officers: in active service, in the reserves, and in civilian life. The association was founded in 2024, during the "Swords of Iron" war, after young ICT officers experienced firsthand a need that had emerged from the field - the absence of a home for a strong professional community of ICT officers following their discharge from meaningful service.
We accompany our members on the path from technological and operational work in the IDF into civilian life. Transition conferences for those approaching discharge, career workshops, a mentoring program, community meetups, academic guidance, and support for reservists are only part of what the association does.
The goal is simple: to empower the community so its members continue to make an impact and remain at the forefront of Israel's social, managerial, and technological life.
All of the association's activities are non-profit, driven by a commitment to the community.
